Ok... we have had plenty of time to get ready... Now let's go! It almost seems that when you have enough time to pack and get organized, that it's too much time. Now we should just get this show on the road!
We are taking 4 bags, 3 carry ons, and a double stroller. We know the weight limit for bags is now 50 lbs so we should be OK. I pray the kids will do OK on the plane. It is supposed to be very heavy winds tomorrow - cross you fingers for us the plane leaves Rochester. Our flight is at 4:30 PM.
It's heady stuff to think about that this is the last night as 'life as we know it'. Our "2" children are tucked in bed... and the next time we tuck anyone in bed here in this house, there will be "3". This is a BIG DEAL. There is a wonderful little girl whose life is about to be turned upside down - for the better. Yet upside down all-the-same. I pray for a smooth transition - for all the children's sake. We are so blessed to be able to build our family through adoption.
Next time I'll post - we'll be in China! See you there!
Love, Lori

By the time you get this, you will be in China! Thank you for sharing your blog - wow, 80's in Guangzhou! Nice! We can't wait to see little Jordan with your family! Erin and Mike Kane
Hi! Hope your ride went well. Everyone here is doing great!! Even Cooper, who didn't wake me up last night (I woke him up). Talk to you soon.

Hi everyone. I responded earlier to the "Welcome to the Blog" sight instead of this more recent piece. So I want you to know that I am correcting papers and looking to see if you got in okay. I pray your flights were fine and the kids survived the grueling trek across the world. We can't wait to hear about everything. Enjoy your time in China.
PS If I am home, I am going to log in as Bob. At school I will log in as me.
Love, Jennifer
